Agricultural Advocate: Casa Grande woman 1 of exclusive few picked for national conference

An old-time fiddler and the founder of three agricultural education programs, Casa Grande’s Nancy Caywood-Robertson is one of only 15 women in the United States invited to participate in the American Farm Bureau Women’s Communication Boot Camp in Washington, D.C., this October.

“I saw this and thought, ‘This is what I really want to do,’” she said.

The four-day workshop will teach women in agriculture how to be effective voices for rural America, whether testifying before Congress, working with the media, talking to the public or running for office.
