APS STEM grant to benefit schools in Florence district

PHOENIX — The Florence Unified School District is one of several entities located throughout Arizona and the Four Corners area that will receive more than $1.2 million in STEM-supported grants from the APS Foundation.

Supporting science, technology, engineering and math (also known as STEM) and other education programs has been the foundation’s principal focus since 2012.
