Arizona City fire board eyes Eloy deal

The Arizona City Fire District board appears to be headed toward an arrangement with the Eloy Fire District instead of hiring a new chief.
The board defeated a pair of agenda items Tuesday that would have resume the process of hiring a full-time or part-time chief. Instead, the board directed district staff to come up with a list of services the district would want if an intergovernmental agreement could be reached with Eloy.
