Casa Grande Council approves more time for subdivision developers
The City Council approved an agreement Tuesday to allow developers of the Santa Cruz Crossing project more time to complete a series of infrastructure improvements.
In a 6-1 vote, the council chose to give developers of the proposed subdivision, located at the southeast corner of Trekell and Rodeo roads, twice the amount of time to finish a set of required public improvements.
The city’s code normally gives 24 months for developers of a subdivision to complete improvements such as installing water and sewer mains. Developers of Santa Cruz Crossing requested a maximum of 48 months to complete improvements, which the council granted.
