Casa Grande McDonald’s set to open mid-September, hire 85

A McDonald’s franchise that was closed all summer for remodeling is scheduled to reopen in mid-September.
Katy Reeve, a spokeswoman with Lavidge marketing firm, said the McDonald’s at 1249 E. Florence Blvd. is expected to open the week of Sept. 11, although that date might change slightly.
Reeve said the location is expected to hire 85 employees. A hiring push will be held Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. as part of a statewide hiring initiative. Applicants can apply at any of the area franchises, which are all owned by Robert Souza and include the restaurants in Coolidge, Florence and Eloy as well as the other two locations in Casa Grande.
