Casa Grande passes budget; increases in retirement, raises included

City of Casa Grande employees will see small increases in their pay, but the city also will be paying more for retirement.

Some city employees are eligible for pay raises, increases that will total about 2.4 percent of salaries. City Manager Larry Rains told PinalCentral that not all employees are eligible as some have reached the maximum on their respective pay scales.

Total cost for the pay raises in the year that began July 1 will be about $600,000.
