Casa Grande RV park planning to expand
Sundance 1 RV Resort is planning to add a second campus near its existing location.
The owner will develop about 18 acres north of its present park, located at 1703 N. Thornton Road, to include 106 new units. The expanded portion has been appropriately dubbed “Sundance 2.”
According to city documents, the park will initially rent the units for RVs and eventually have all 106 spaces occupied by permanent homes. George McGavin, the park’s owner, projected having all the new units filled by manufactured homes within a five-year timeline.
