CG council to take up non-medical marijuana issue

The Casa Grande City Council during its next meeting on Monday will be asked to take a stand against the legalization of non-medical marijuana.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 510 E. Florence Blvd. It’s open to the public.
Legalization of non-medical marijuana could be an issue in the 2016 election.
Some organizers are hoping to gather enough signatures to have a ballot question introduced in 2016 that would allow voters to weigh in on the issue of permitting non-medical use of the drug.
