City of Maricopa Accepting Bids for Development of Estrella Gin Business Park

[NEWS RELEASE] The City of Maricopa has issued a Request for Statement of Qualifications (RSOQ) for a qualified firm to develop the Estrella Gin Business Park, a 50+ acre City-owned site located at 45654 West Edison Road, Maricopa, AZ 85139. Upon completion of the competitive bid process, the City will select a development partner with experience designing, entitling, financing, constructing, managing and leasing light industrial/ office business parks.

The Estrella Gin Business Park is eligible for the Government Property Lease Excise Tax (GPLET) abatement, with all utilities to the site and oversized for industrial users. Edison Road has been extended through the site, connecting State Route 238 and State Route 347, the City’s main transportation routes; the Union Pacific Railroad line forms the southern boundary of the site. To view the RSOQ and receive future bid opportunities from the City of Maricopa, potential applicants must register for the E-Gov bid posting service. Registration ensures that users will receive updates and answers to questions received during the posting period.
