Concrete Construction along Apache Junction in Preparation for Repaving

(PRESS RELEASE) During the April 7 City Council meeting, Apache Junction city councilmembers will vote on a contract for concrete construction. The concrete construction will include pedestrian ramp modifications and improvements at crosswalk intersections to meet modern ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards along Apache Trail. If approved, construction is anticipated to start immediately.

Construction will include single lane closures at the ramp sites. The entire project is expected to take one month. Access to businesses will remain open during the construction.
