Coolidge Commission approves RV parking code

coolidgeAfter months of discussion, a newly written code dealing with the storage of recreational vehicles is set to be presented to city council for a vote on adoption.

The Coolidge Planning and Zoning Commission, which handles issues of city codes, unanimously approved an ordinance removing the existing code Wednesday, and replacing it with a new writing that aims to clarify the conditions under which an RV can be parked on a residential property. The commission had debated what terms should be included in the ordinance over two previous meetings, and came up with the following:
