Coolidge Municipal Airport named Airport of the Year for 2017

Each year, the Arizona Department of Transportation Multimodal Planning Division – Aeronautics Group selects an “Airport of the Year” that meets accomplishments in the areas of aviation advocacy and community relations, airport management, special events and recognition as well as innovative activities and programs implemented at the airport.

Coolidge Municipal Airport was named  “Airport of the Year for 2017” by the group at the 2017 Arizona Airports Association spring conference in Prescott in late May.

Pinal Partnership Board Member and Treasurer Darrell Wilson, along with many community members, frequently attend the annual breakfast fly-in at Coolidge Municipal Airport and rave about this aviation asset.

Coolidge Municipal Airport is a city-owned public airport five miles southeast of Coolidge, in Pinal County. Learn more about the airport on their website.
