Council considers pay, title changes for city employees

A recent study found that some Maricopa city employees may deserve more pay than they are currently receiving.

The classification and compensation study was conducted by Segal Waters, a human resources and benefits consulting group.

“This is a collaborative interest and effort to come together to agree on how we’re going to update the city’s pay system to be more competitive with the market,” said Ruth Ann Eledge, vice president and senior consultant for Segal Waters.
