County receives Healthy Arizona Worksites award

Pinal County upped its ranking from a copper award to a silver one this year for its efforts in promoting employee health and wellness as part of the Healthy Arizona Worksites Program.

The program aims to help employers develop initiatives to promote health and wellness in the workplace to build up the force’s overall health.

The statewide program provides each employer with “training, technical assistance, tools and resources to design, implement and evaluate worksite wellness initiatives,” the website states.
