Election 2014: CGUHSD – Voters to decide future budgets

Voters will determine the future of Casa Grande Union High School District’s academics, after-school activities, teaching staff and class sizes Nov. 4 when they decide whether to continue its 10 percent maintenance and operations budget override.

The override has been in place since 1985 and allows the district to spend 10 percent more than the revenue control limit set by the state which mandates what districts can levy and spend every year.
