Eloy officials optimistic about city’s future growth

Community leaders in Pinal County say more collaboration between cities is necessary for surviving financial and infrastructure troubles.

Pinal Partnership hosted a panel June 12 at The Property Conference Center in Casa Grande with representatives from Eloy, Coolidge, Florence and Maricopa each answering questions and offering developmental updates of their respective cities.

Revitalization and transportation were among the top priorities discussed at Pinal Partnership’s monthly breakfast meeting two weeks ago. About 150 people attended the panel discussion.

City officials from Maricopa, Coolidge and Florence said the main issue they are facing is trying to get transportation in order to bring more development to their areas.
