Florence hires Globe city manager as town’s new boss

Current Globe City Manager Brent D. Billingsley has been hired as Florence’s new town manager.
Billingsley, who previously worked for governments in Pinal County, will start will start his new job Dec. 29 at an annual salary of $130,000.
He has worked for the City of Casa Grande, Pinal County, Central Arizona Governments and the City of Maricopa.
He is a graduate of Casa Grande Union High School and Central Arizona College. He earned a Bachelor degree in Public Planning from Northern Arizona University.
