Former restaurant building renovated to house credit union

Pinal County Federal Credit Union recently got the green light to begin construction of the project that has been in the making for over two years.

Currently, Pinal County Federal Credit Union (Pinal County FCU) is here in Coolidge in the Safeway parking lot, but in months, their new home will be on a more visible spot on Arizona Boulevard in nearly double the size.

Pinal County FCU CEO Alice Wilcox explained that the Coolidge building they are currently in wasn’t fitting the needs of their employees and their customers anymore and it was a very necessary decision to find a new space.

“Coolidge is one of our busiest branches and needed space for many years,” Wilcox said. “We are really excited about it.”

Pinal County FCU opened in Coolidge in 2008. And in just over six short years has outgrown their surroundings.
