Pinal CountyArizona gubernatorial candidates Ken Bennett, Doug Ducey and Alice Lukasik are among the candidates who will be participating in a political forum Thursday, June 26, in Gold Canyon, east of Apache Junction.

Also expected are candidates for Legislative District 16 and Pinal County constable.

The public is invited to attend.

The Association for the Development of a Better Environment will host the forum, which will start at 6 p.m. at the Best Western Hotel, 8333 E. Sunrise Sky Drive. Drivers can exit U.S. 60 at Kings Ranch Road.

“This will be an important year for Arizona and Pinal County to elect new leadership. ADOBE is inviting all governor candidates along with local candidates to join its members and all interested voters,” Pam Burks, who is coordinating the event, said in a press release.

The event format will seat the attendees at tables and have the candidates move from table to table for an allotted period of time, Ms. Burks said. The time period will be determined by the number of candidates in attendance, she said.

“This format creates an opportunity for a more candid and personal interview between the attendees and the candidate. We hope you will attend because with so many candidates you will want to be sure you know where they stand on the important issues for Pinal county and the state of Arizona,” Ms. Burks said.
