Hailey Garland, new youth development director at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley Superstition Mountain Branch, holds a cat during an AJ Paws and Claws presentation at the club, 1755 N. Idaho Road. “They came to talk about animal safety to the kids and they brought some kittens and puppies for the kids to pet. Next Thursday afternoon we will be having the AJ police department K-9 unit and forensics team will be here to give the kids a demonstration,” Russell S.
