A study released this month by data analysis firm NerdWallet shows Maricopa as the best bet for homeowners in Arizona.
The study analyzed 64 cities across the Grand Canyon State of 10,000 residents (excluding age-restricted communities such as Sun City West) and found that several communities across Pinal County, including San Tan Valley, Florence and Casa Grande, were in the Top 20 when it came to the best places to buy a home.
But there is only one No. 1: Maricopa.
“We’re an affordable and young community,” said Maricopa economic development director Micah Miranda. “We’re just 10 years old, and we’ve got so many cool things coming out of the ground.”
