Officials consider doubling fee to visit Casa Grande Ruins
Public comment will be accepted until Jan. 30 online, by mail or at the park’s visitor center on a proposed $5 to $10 fee increase to visit the Casa Grande Ruins at Coolidge, Ariz.
The fee would still cover admission for seven days.
An official said the park is committed to maintaining affordable admission prices but officials also want to be able to give the best experience possible. Revenue from entrance fees go toward improving facilities, infrastructure and services for visitors.
An increased fee would help with plans to give access to more of the monument.
