The recent purchase of a Phoenix Quality Inn is reaping benefits for a local Maricopa food bank.
The hotel will reportedly undergo a transformation to affordable housing, therefore, the 180 rooms full of furniture needs to go.
Maricopa Food Pantry owner Jim Shoaf jumped at the opportunity to accept that furniture as a donation and then auction it off, with all the proceeds going to his Food Pantry.
