Eloy ranch seeks funds to expand hands-on training

ELOY — Lucky Nickel Ranch is part certified organic farm and part classroom.

While vegetables are grown on 42 acres in Eloy, the ranch is also a place where aspiring farmers learn the ins and outs of Arizona agriculture — its soil, and unique fertilizer and chemical needs as well as how to serve a niche market and turn a profit.
