Proposition campaign has raised more than $200K

Those campaigning for a “Yes” vote on Proposition 417 have an overwhelming edge in financial resources than those campaigning for “No.”
The group New Roads and Freeways Before it’s Too Late: Yes on Propositions 416 and 417 recently released a campaign finance audit that shows that the group has received $200,499 in contributions, while the opposition group, Citizens Against Proposition 417, has only received $6,000.
The money for pro-proposition advocate group comes primarily from donors who have major investments in Pinal County. Donors include El Dorado Holdings, Southwest Gas, Garrett Motors, Danrick Builders and Global Water, among others.
