RC Flyers upgrade airfield facilities near Casa Grande

With the addition of new asphalt-covered helicopter and drone pads as well as new flight tables at its airfield, the Casa Grande RC Flyers Club says now is a good time to discover the hobby of radio controlled aviation.

“Even during the summer, the club members continue to fly, usually shortly after sunrise on weekend mornings,” said Alan Friedman, club president. “Some of the club instructors also give lessons to new individuals wanting to enter the hobby in the summer.”

As well as new asphalt and flight tables, the improvements include a section specifically for drone and helicopter use. Eight new tables have been added for vendors who wish to sell items during swap meets at the field.
