Residents of Red Rock want improvements to I-10 interchange

Residents here are concerned that access to Interstate 10 is becoming more unsafe because of conditions at and around the interchange, especially the on-ramps.

Residents met recently with Pinal County Supervisor Anthony Smith, R-Maricopa, to air their concerns during one of Smith’s Session with the Supervisor meetings.

About 2,000 people live in Red Rock, situated along I-10 between Picacho and Marana. There are no stores in the residential community, so many of the residents must use the freeway to travel to Marana for shopping or to commute to jobs elsewhere.
