Secretary of state speaks in Casa Grande about modernization

Despite some challenges, Michele Reagan loves being Arizona’s secretary of state.

Reagan, speaking to the Greater Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce on Friday, said it would have been easy for her to keep the status quo with her office, but she realized that staying stagnant just wasn’t going to cut it in the 21st century.

“We’re catching up. We’re entering the 1990s now,” Reagan joked about the state’s efforts to upgrade its digital status.
