Smith tops in Maricopa council race
As of Wednesday morning Maricopa City Council member Nancy Smith led her opponents in the race for Maricopa City Council with 1,816 votes.
Smith, her husband Tony, a Pinal County Supervisor, and friends were enjoying the early results at Brooklyn Boys restaurant in Maricopa.
“It feels awesome, I’m very delighted,” Smith said. “I’ve worked very hard to try and help the residents understand what I’ve done so far in the last two years and what I promise to do in the coming four years.”
