Students Can Score Financial Aid During College Goal FAFSA on Feb. 7 at CAC’s San Tan Campus

Pinal County, Ariz. – Did you know that nearly $8 out of every $10 in student financial assistance requires the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)?  The FAFSA is the first critical step in applying for financial assistance yet, so many students and families are unaware of the financial assistance options available to them, how to apply and the steps required for financial success.

Central Arizona College invites college-bound seniors and parents to College Goal FAFSA at the San Tan Campus on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at 2 p.m.

During this workshop, students and their families will receive free help from CAC’s financial aid staff to complete the online CAC FoundationFAFSA form and receive answers to other financial aid related questions.

“Applying for financial aid online is what we strongly encourage,” Elisa Juarez, Central Arizona College’s director of financial aid, explains. “College Goal FAFSA offers a perfect opportunity for students and parents to receive assistance from financial aid professionals.”

Students who complete a FAFSA and student exit survey at College Goal FAFSA can enter to win one of several $500 scholarships.

Students are encouraged to contact CAC by email (finaid@centralaz.edu) or by phone (520-494-5425 / 800-237-9814 ext. 5425) for help in completing the forms.
