APEX opponents call for settlement

A letter sent by Grant Woods Law to attorneys representing APEX Motor Club has called for a settlement on how the complex will be operated.

On Sept. 26, the law group representing Bonita Burks and Daniel Erickson, who are in opposition to the APEX development, submitted a letter, obtained by PinalCentral, asking to “discuss settling this matter in an amicable way.”

The letter brought forth two points the parties asked to be addressed from both sides. The first issue is enforcing a sound ordinance. The letter asks to establish “not-to-exceed” limits and maintain instantaneous noise levels below 60 to 65 A-weighted decibels, or dBA, during the day, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
