Broussard, Ross take uncontested seats; races just beginning for others who were unopposed in primary

In a night dominated by slow results and website crashes, there were some races where voters in Pinal County had no doubt as to who the winners would be.

First-term Pinal County School Superintendent Jill Broussard and Pinal County Recorder Virginia Ross were reelected Tuesday night, as they did not face a primary challenger and will not be opposed in the general election.

Pinal County Assessor Doug Wolf was unopposed in the primary, but will move on to the general to face former Assessor’s Office employee Jacqueline Minto, a Democrat, in the general.
