CAC will use $3.7M grant for job training

SIGNAL PEAK — Central Arizona College recently received a $3.7 million grant the school will use to create a new machinery program along with further developing the welding program.
The grant is the largest in the college’s 45-year history and is part of a $10 million grant the college will share with Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, Gateway Community College’s Maricopa Skill Center in Phoenix and the Southwest Skill Center at Estrella Mountain Community College in Avondale.
