Casa Grande commission to look at Villago building plat

Planning commissioners are expected to have a lengthy meeting Thursday.
The Casa Grande Planning and Zoning Commission will consider a preliminary plat for the Villago subdivision. The plat would lay out 1,198 single-family home lots along with the roadways and easements. Earlier this summer, commissioners and the Casa Grande City Council approved planned area development zoning for the land.
Communities Southwest, a land developer, has purchased the 372 acres in Villago. A home builder has not been approved to sell houses in that portion.
