Casa Grande hires former employee as consultant for rec center

A former employee has been hired by the city as a consultant on the recreation center project.
The City Council on Aug. 7 voted to hire Ted Hawkins of Gravity Research LLC as a consultant “to provide overall project management services for this project. Services will include consultation on the remaining planning, design, engineering and construction of the Community Recreation Center,” according to documents included with the council agenda.
“Ted has a depth of experience working with these type of projects and has a good track record of similar work with the City of Casa Grande, Haydon Building Corporation and Architekton,” the documents say.
