The popularity of CAVIT’s nursing program has led to a dramatic increase in the center’s student population, officials say.

The Central Arizona Valley Institute of Technology reported Wednesday an increased enrollment of 250 students this year.

But sustaining that growth over the coming months and years will mean developing enough campus facilities to account for the additional students.
