Chamber throws hat into MCE ring, council continues NACET contract

With the contract for the Maricopa Center for Entrepreneurship up for discussion, the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce stepped up as an interested party. But it will have to wait six months before it gets the opportunity to bid.

The announcement came in response to an agenda item on the City Council meeting Tuesday that discussed the renewal of the city’s contract with the Northern Arizona Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology. This organization is the parent company of MCE.

“The Chamber stands prepared and ready to step into a larger, more focused training and mentorship role at any time,” said Terri Crain, director of the Chamber.
