Coolidge airport gets $150K grant
Coolidge Municipal Airport will receive a $150,000 federal grant for rehabilitation of more than 2,000 feet of taxiway pavement.
The project comes from $970,000 in critical transportation grants for rural airports in Gila, Graham and Pinal counties, announced by U.S. Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Ariz.
“Transportation and infrastructure are important ingredients in Arizona’s growth,” said Kirkpatrick, who serves on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. “Grants like these help address local infrastructure needs and ensure that our smaller communities are part of a strong, diverse, stable economy across Arizona.”
