Coolidge losing police officers due to pay rate

With a rising crime rate, the many residents of Coolidge depend on the city’s police officers to keep them safe.
But many of those officers are being recruited by other agencies.
“Right now the Police Department is fighting an uphill battle with the Valley agencies,” said Cmdr. Mark Tercero. “The Valley agencies pay significantly more than we are able to offer.”
