Coolidge residents say drinking water, streets among disappointing issues

The results of a citizen survey conducted by the city of Coolidge shows the issues that residents feel strongly about, both in positive and negative ways.

Between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28, the city sent out 3,542 surveys to homeowners and renters of varying age demographics. Of those, only 446 surveys, or 13 percent, were returned to the city. Of those who returned their surveys, 84 percent are at least 46 years old.

The survey found that 51 percent of responders felt the quality of life in Coolidge is excellent or good, while 45 percent said it is fair or poor.
