Casa Grande

CASA GRANDE — The primary election for Casa Grande City Council candidates will be held at the end of this month. There are three seats being sought by 10 candidates, three of them incumbents.

The Casa Grande Dispatch is posing a series of questions to the candidates in the weeks leading up to the election and publishing their responses. Some of the answers are edited for length or context.

This week’s question asks the candidates their thoughts on making improvements to the city’s downtown region. Casa Grande Main Street, a local nonprofit organization, announced this summer it would discontinue its monthly “First Friday” events, meant to draw residents downtown during evening hours.
