Corporations could see a large increase in fees for requesting data from the Pinal County Assessor’s Office if a series of proposed changes are approved.

However, at last Wednesday’s meeting of the Board of Supervisors, the board decided against voting on the fees and moved the agenda item to the March 26 meeting. The board meets in a work session today in Florence along with other county elected officials as part of a strategic planning session.

Tisha Castillo, president of the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce, said the proposed fees would drive companies away from Pinal County.
