Eloy to hire an economic development specialist

The City Council will once again have an economic development specialist.

Community Development Manager Jon Vlaming came before the council on Monday to explain why it would be a good idea to authorize the position.

Eloy has had an economic development specialist in the past, but when the contract for that position was up in August council members decided not to renew it.
