Eloy mayor asks community to be more engaged

The state of the city of Eloy is looking pretty stable with a decent outlook for the next fiscal year, according to officials who spoke at last week’s Chamber of Commerce luncheon.

From the new police chief to the Public Works director and everyone in between, department leaders had a chance to come before attendees of the Eloy Chamber of Commerce luncheon June 1 at Robson Ranch to tout what they’ve achieved over the last year and their vision for the future.

With the announcement of the new City Hall, various road improvements, infrastructure improvements at the airport and two new City Council members, the city has had a fairly busy year beyond dealing with the day-to-day grind of government employment.
