Bridger Kimball recently filed paperwork with the Arizona Secretary of State’s office and will run for a seat in the Arizona House of Representatives.

The former Maricopa city council member said he will be running to fill the open house seat in Arizona’s Legislative District 11, which is currently held by Vince Leach. Leach announced in May that he would be running for LD-11’s senate seat, as current Senator Steve Smith will be running for the U.S. House of Representatives, District 1.

Kimball is a military veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps until he sustained a non-combat injury that led to a honorable medical discharge. In 2012, he was elected to the City Council of Maricopa where he served for four years. He is now the business owner of Rangemasters Shooting Range (Caswells Shooting Range).
