A look at the new Artisan Village of Coolidge

How do you make something old and seemingly abandoned useful again, take a once-thriving school and give it new life?
A study team made up of members from the Coolidge Economic Development Council (CEDC) was created about 14 months ago to discuss options for best use of the former North School property in Coolidge. Originally a team of five core members, which later increased to six members, would meet for two hours each week to share ideas that would serve the community’s interest. After several weeks of meeting, deliberating and sharing ideas, the group came up with a plan.
