Lucid moving to larger, new headquarters

Lucid Motors has announced it is relocating to a new headquarters by the end of the year.
A press release said the company is outgrowing its current headquarters in Menlo Park, California, and is relocating across the San Francisco Bay to Newark. The new location will be twice the size of its current location, the release said, and will be a few blocks away from the company’s prototype shop.
“Following Lucid’s product development philosophy of collocating functions to increase development speed and improve product excellence, the new headquarters will accommodate a larger design studio, more lab space and more office space, all under one roof,” the release said. “This collocation has enabled the collaborative design and engineering process that led to the creation of the Lucid Air.”
