Marana primed for even more success in 2018

The Marana Chamber is thankful for our historic and strategic growth in 2017. Our plans for the New Year include the same principles that have carried us this far: our caring and friendly culture, our willingness to think out of the box, and our continued mission to be the voice of business that works to build economic growth and quality of life in our community.

Our partnership with the Town of Marana reflects the same positive qualities. Businesses and residents continue to flock here to share in this well thought-out Strategic Plan for Marana. Curt Woody, Economic Director for the Town said that “residential permits for calendar year 2017 surpassed expectations, and we’re looking for 2018 to be equally robust.  Also, the increase in commercial and retail activity through the end of 2017 is expected to sustain that momentum for the foreseeable future.” The proof for 2017 was a huge total of 775 Single Family Residential starts! The Hampton Inn is well along in construction across from the Tucson Premium Outlet Mall in Marana.
