Mayor Price reappointed to National Economic Development Committee

Mayor Christian Price has been appointed to serve a third term on the National League of Cities (NLC) Community and Economic Development Committee. This committee has the lead responsibility for developing NLC federal policy positions on issues involving housing, community and economic development, land use, recreation and parks, historic preservation and international competitiveness. The appointment was announced by NLC President Melodee Colbert-Kean, councilmember, Joplin, Missouri.

“Serving on the National League of Cities Community and Economic Development Committee is a tremendous opportunity for the City of Maricopa and an honor,” said Price. “This is an opportunity to exchange ideas with leaders from around the country, impact policy that affects our city and state, and helps us create better solutions at a local level.”
