PhoenixMart asks to manage pipeline extension
PhoenixMart developers expect to have up to 275,000 square feet of concrete slab poured at the construction site by early next week.
Concrete trucks have been visiting the site, located at Florence Boulevard and Overfield Road, in recent days to pour at night. The company expects to have all 1.6 million square feet poured in the coming months.
Marshall Stahl, CEO of PhoenixMart, said the company is on schedule to meet construction goals set earlier this year for the huge sourcing center. He still expects the main shell of the PhoenixMart building to be up by the end of this year.
On Monday, over 100 trucks carrying steel are expected to arrive at the construction site. This steel will be used to construct frames of the building’s walls, the first sections of which are to be tilted up by next month.
